Here is the Interview with Ivan Buchta, I hope you all have your questions answered in these 3 parts.

Questions Covered in this part:

How much will we notice it being 2025 on Lemnos? Is it just the military stuff or also Civ and misc stuff? Architecture and such.

Will BIS 'invent' some technology in the game or is it ALL based on existing tech?

Will it be better optimized than ARMA2? Or will we need a beast of a computer to make it look like the screens?

Are they going to bring over all of the features from ARMA2, new multiplayer modes?

Updated sound effects?

How do they feel about the the modifications made to ARMA 2 and did they feel compelled to bring any of those ideas to ARMA3.

Will there be a beta for players to test?

In some of the videos of test footage will there be any vehicles for underwater action?

Enjoy

  • Who the crap disliked this? Seriously... How could anyone dislike this information?

  • Czech language is completely different from the Russian speaking. Young Czechs is learning English better than other languages.

  • @LavoraX My comment about Russian was an example...

Well he is Czech so he's speaking a second language... I bet you'd be the same if you were speaking Russian or something...

  • @Shady4782 its not really futuristic as in laz0r gunz, it uses weapons from the present day in a futuristic conflict with futuristicarcbitecture, culture, clothes etc. The setting wont have an impact on gameplay but more on story

  • I personally don't like the futuristic stuff, but that is why there are mods =D

I hope people will make easy mods to work with, (so that playing online is easier) like a standardized mod.

Want to say thanks also to those who make the mods for the Arma series, love you guys.

  • @MustNotRead it's not too futuristic like halo or mass effect futuristic, it's just about 25 years from now, so the vehichles and weapons will be the alot similar just look and feel slightly differant, there's not going to be super laser guns the guns and vehichles etc are going to be stuff that is made by the arma team and stuff that is currently being designed and made in the military. It's still going to be realistic arma that we love

I've learned that in life, no matter where you go, no matter how positive or cool the situation, there's always a fucking asshole lurking about. Never fails!

Well i live in Portugal, and i think that in my city i, and 2 two friends of mine, are the only ones who have even heard about it,and i still play it very well, if you have any friends that play video games you can ask them to buy it and then you can play together, wich for me is one of the best things you can do.

  • @JLSR12

I have installed the six updater and installed a few mods, but its gets me nowhere with a game thats has little or no following in my region.

One reason is that county's that are within the ping range are say... Indonesia Malaysia to the north...and no guessing as to why it has nil following there.

  • @RIPOFF65

Well arma 2 doesnt have those modes because its a military simulator, but you can get those modes by downloading other players missions or making your own, and there are many big servers, like 6th sense, that play sometimes player vs ai and others player vs player in custom made missions, but you need mods, but mods are a really good thing, just the mods are worth for the price of the whole game.

  • @JLSR12

The online play here in OZ is dead including the expansions packs for Arma2..OA BAF and so on.The few rooms that do have players don't play red vs blue, just blue vs bots ,and require some ad-ons/mods..ACE etc.

I do play Battlefield BC2 and I don't want to start an argument of what is better( arguments with Arma/COD/ BF fanboys is a waste of time),but the online play of BF is what Id like to see in Arma. Some quick attack/ defend, capture the flag games.

  • @RIPOFF65

You can play multiplayer against other people.

  • Ask next time will the online be as boring as arma2?

Shooting bots(AIs) is not what I call online fun.

Going room to room house to house with REAL people is fun
