Nick's POV
* I stood there smiling with my brothers and Kole. Elizabeth was walking down the aisle with my father. Her father was to stubborn to watch his own daughter get married. Marissa, Julie, and Becca were on the other side of the chupah. It was big and white with ribbons of maroon and blue on it. I stood under it and she approached. Our whole school was in the audience.*
Nick: You look beautiful. (whispered as he smiles)
Elizabeth: (smiles)
* The rabi looked at us. He started talking, saying my name. I barely listened to what he was saying. I was to busy staring at Elizabeth. She nodded and I realized what I was supposed to do next.*
Nick: Oh, I do.
Joe: (laughs)
Nick: (mumbles to himself) Awkward...
* The rabi said some more junk, this time with Elizabeth's name. She kept smiling. She was really happy. That made me happy too. She took a deep breath.*
Elizabeth: I... I do.
Rabi: Nicholas, you may now kiss the bride.
* I leaned in and kissed her lips softly. It was the most awkward kiss ever. I wasn't a big fan of public affection. Kevin stepped over, holding the glass in a towel. I looked at the bottom of my shoe, making sure it was thick. It would suck to get glass in my shoe. I lifted up my foot and hesitated to let it drop. Elizabeth looked at me, nodding. I quickly stomped my foot down on to the glass cup and listened to it crash. Elizabeth hugged me and the whole crowd yelled Mazel Tov. I think that meant Congratulations.*
Nick: Well, Mrs. Jonas, are you ready to party?
Elizabeth: (smiles) Yes, Mr. Jonas. I believe I am.
-at the end of the party-
Nick: Cake time!
Elizabeth: Yay! Everyone, please come into the dining area. We are having cake.
* Everyone walked over. Elizabeth picked up a paper maroon plate and handed me one in baby blue. She cut herself a piece of cake. I cut myself one. We both looked down at the pieces of cake on our plate and smiled. I guess we were both thinking the same thing. I mouthed, 1 2 3! and we threw the cake at each other's mouths. It was delicious. We were both laughing so hard. She squeezed me.*
Elizabeth: (in his ear) I think you're gonna be lucky tonight.
Nick: (smiles, as if he knew what that meant)
Mrs. Jonas: Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Jonas! Do I see grandchildren in the future?
Elizabeth: Of course Mom!
Mrs. Jonas: (starts crying) I'm sorry. Grandchildren just means... just means, that I'm old!
Nick: (hugs his mom) It's okay?
Elizabeth: Mrs. Jonas, Nick and I have already talked about the whole children thing and decided we were both ready.
Mrs. Jonas: I think that's wonderful!
Nick: (sighs in relief)
