Incredible music of Wayne Shorter, one of far too many to imagine. My rendition was spur of the moment, no improvisation to speak of, because .. it is just too nice a melody to improve on.
I didn't do a good enough job of it, but making these recordings takes just enough time (more than 30 minutes) to cause me to drop it for another weekend and will try again.
Funny: No matter what I decide I'm going to record, I never seem to play that by the time I get all the buttons pressed. Today, I was sure I was going to record "One for Helen" by Bill Evans but maybe next week.
One last comment: I used my first acoustic I got ~1 year ago which is a pretty cheap guitar although I like it. The reason is because I'm in California and the Santa Ana winds are blowing so the humidity is dropping rapidly to zero.
Zero humidity and decent wood guitars don't go well together so I always leave this and my CA guitar setting out. I was curious to see how this one sounded and had to tune it many times, but it is still intonated poorly and still out of tune a bit.
Man, Hashi.
Cool tune. That guitar is pretty brilliant compared to the other's you play here. Is that a Steinberger on the wall behind you? If so, you should do a video with it. I love those headless guitars.
