Because I Love You

Because I Love You is a story of a young man who sets out to reconcile with what he has lost and can never have again. It's a melancholy tale that takes our main character from sadness to acceptance, the two most prominent emotions associated with loss of any kind.

This film was shot on 16 mm B&W TriX Kodak Reversal film stock with a Bolex Rex-5. Produced in association with the Film Department of Humboldt State University, this was my final project for my Filmmaking 1 class this semester.
