There is actually quite a difference between wrestling and grappling that more and more untrained individuals are able to easily recognize.
Wrestling is a sport for points and the objective is to pin your opponent to the mat.
Grappling is a Martial Art, where the objective is to SUBMIT your opponent. Basic Submissions include Chokes, Joint Locks, etc. Here, turning your back to your opponent is taboo. Grappling is the same thing they do in the UFC, minus the striking.
