@Ghazi571 i totally agree with this, taking in account how the world describes the devil "someone that lies, decieves, does whatever necesary to fufill their wants"..and this is infact our ego...kidna scary but at the same time wicked fucking cool how our mind works

The Super-ego strives to act in a socially appropriate manner, whereas the id just wants instant self-gratification. The Super-ego controls our sense of right and wrong and guilt - gets us to act in socially acceptable ways.
The Super-ego's demands oppose the id’s, so the ego has a hard time in reconciling the two. The super-ego acts as the conscience upon the ego. Under the influence of authority, religious teaching, schooling and reading, the stricter the super-ego will be on the ego later on.
