Beautiful tone and feeling, Mr Probert.

What a pleasure to hear George Probert playing "Canal Street Blues" in his 80's. Love you, man!

God I love this stuff. Bill Richards was a friend of mine and a fellow musician. He taught me a lot of tunes when I was coming up. He died in November of 2007, so this band won't be back at the Sacramento festival. When we lost Bill, we lost a treasure.

Paul Zelders.

Bill Richards leads the "Two Beat Bombers" at the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee on Saturday mornings, first set only. This particular set had Jim Ritter on cornet. Hal Smith, drums. Banjo Scott Anthony. Howard Meiata (sp) on trombone. Jim Maihack on tuba. Jim Buckman, clarinet and sop sax and of course Bill Richards, piano.
