From KMOL-TV in San Antonio, Texas (Now WOAI-DT). Station Promo followed by full Sign Off to Color Bars. I believe this to be from around 1988, but do not know the exact date.

  • @SailorCallie

who was the announcer for KMOL tv 4 now WOAI?

  • @kambreesuncle2 The "Moog SSB" also aired on many other TV stations back in the day. Some of them include: WBFF-TV 45 in Baltimore; WJHG-TV 7 in Panama City, FL; and WXII-TV 12 in Winston-Salem, NC.

  • That's 3 stations that has used the Moog SSB. KABC in Los Angeles and KFSM in Fort Smith, Arkansas are the other two.

  • that was from the 1970's and 80's

  • Does anyone know which color-bar generator the then-KMOL used in those days? Certainly looks different from the SMPTE bars as mapped out on Tektronix TSG-170A's.

  • I didn't know that Channel 4 aired the "Star-Spangled Banner performed on a Moog Syntersizer(sp)" film before.
