This video shows the latest version ( as of April 2010 ) of the game client/engine, and features the seamless planetary engine, a ring with asteroids, a space station, basic navigation/camera/controls and a few effects. The game is still heavily a work in progress.

    Just looking at this game really gets my imagination going. Just imagine being able to exit your spaceship to explore on foot.

    Yep. And each star he selected in the first video is another star system with planets (potentially thousands of them) - all with just as much detail as the one demoed in this video.

    And how is it gimil? Be careful because the infinity of the universe in the space engine may cause vomiting at the beginning :) have fun :)

    Actually, Infinity is alive and well. They're planning a kickstarter soon. I'm downloading Space Engine right now. The preview video doesn't show whether or not you can fly down in to the atmosphere of a planet. God I wish Star Citizen was going to have that ability.
