Turok : Dinosaur Hunter (100%) Speed Run (Level1 : Outset)

- Hitting the switch before getting the key. Saves about 10 seconds of staring at the wall.

- I'm not sure if strafing while running (GE/PD style) increases speed but it sure does feel like it...so I do it whenever possible. However, it can sometimes be rather glitchy in this game, especially near ledges, corners, and bridge rails.

- Diagonal jump = farther, not as high.

- After the second checkpoint and before the Tek arrows, if you do a high normal jump and hit one of the bulges in the wall you will end up higher than where most people land. I had to try about 3-4 times before this happened. The speed save is roughly 10 seconds (climbing eats it). You know you have succeeded if you appear directly by the life force triangles.

- I only shoot enemies if they unlock an obstacle, are an obstacle in and of themselves, or if they would do too much damage to me to ignore at the given time.

i saw a vid of turok speed runs and a guy did this game ( 100% + bosses ) in about 26 mins after the vid ended i was like "wtf did turok eat this morning"

the problem with this game is the levels were way to long. Who wants to play the first level for 1.5 hours+ before you felt like you've made any progress in the game?

I like how all the dinosaurs and monsters live in harmony with the other hunters, they just all seem to be after only you...

Gotta say.... doom 2/ link to the past / chrono trigger, FF6, FFT and FF7 / ocarina of time/ mario 64/ golden eye; all huge nostalgia...... but there's something about this game that hit me just at the right time...... one of my biggest nostalgic games.

@2RadGetriebe Chronocepter it's a usseles weapon vs campaigner, like Fusion Canon (except for T-Rex Boss), it's true that help a lot but you can kill him without suffering damage . it's very easy kill him with Explosive-Shells of the automatic shotgun, even in hard mode.

lol I would have had to do like a 1000 takes.

I love this game it's one of the best throwback games ever.
