This is my first video which will probably be among many. I'm not going to shut up about this.

I may be smiling but I am PISSED OFF.

Torturing anyone, including Americans, is wrong.
Denying the UN access to Pvt Manning to check on such allegations is wrong.
Over-classifying information is wrong.
Killing innocent civilians and hiding it from the American people is wrong.
The president was wrong when he broke the law in speaking about Pvt. Manning's case.
Adrian Lamo was wrong when he lied to elicit information from Pvt. Manning.

This kid has been so wronged, will you help me make it right?
My friends, if you can help me spread these links I would be forever grateful.

  • This sort of thing, reprehesible as it is, is nothing new. Every time the US is at war (and when is it not?) there's always the excuse of treason/national security to slam the dissident. Another example of Obama's "change" we can "believe in."

  • @TheAzov He's worse than Bush because he has lied so much and everything he's done is contrary to the Constitution. I expected nothing out of Bush because he was easy to see coming, you know? He was just kind of stupid and bumbling. THIS guy.. I don't even know.

  • I think he should be held accountable for his actions, but it's pretty fucking ridiculous how they're making an example of him. I also agree that the government should be more transparent, and the "collateral murder" video should be seen so people can see what goes on during a war. Why was it classified?

And you're right about the government getting away with torturing it's own citizens. Hell, now that they can detain anyone indefinitely without a trial that should make it much more easier, no?

  • @jacesan Yeah man it's scarey out there. The act of taking away a person's clothes is not something a lot of people consider when thinking about this case but really how extreme is that? It's really a horrible way to try to mentally break someone down.

NDAA is the worst thing Obama could have signed. The language of it is... dangerously ambiguous and could lead to the kind of witch hunt that would put all others before it to shame.

  • It's all part of the Nazification of America, unfortunately. As a member of Amnesty International I'm willing to do anything I can to help.

  • Torturing anyone is wrong, no matter the reasoning behind it. As an Australian viewing the U.S from the outside, I and many others are very concerned at the direction your Government is heading, the slow carving away of peoples liberties and personal freedoms is frightening.

  • @dev0n72 no thanks are in order dude. I have very personal reasons for being behind this that I hope to express very soon.

  • @shalindriaharam

    you're right shalin :)

thanks for doing this. i support you.

and nice to see you to...indeed ;)

  • @TheEvilOfScientology It's sad that so few people are actually paying attention. I detest the American press for going on and on about stupid, nonsensical, inconsequential things. American politics and media have both lost their meaning and substance. It's actually embarrassing.
