This fish was hand collected using a rebreather 300 nautical miles out in the pristine waters of the Coral Sea for public aquarium display. No chemicals or drugs were used during this process. Cairns Marine is a respected and licenced company specialising in providing sustainably collected animals to public aquaria world wide for conservation and education. Check out our website!

  • napoleon is an endangered specie

  • Maori wrasse is not a threatened species in Australia where it is protected from fishing throughout its range. Cairns Marine is permitted to collect a limited number under permit conditions that are independantly assessed by Australia's Department of Environment to ensure compliance with CITES.
