actually Hitler was raised catholic. He wanted to abolish Christianity, according to my (German) history book. However I don't have "Mein Kampf" (logically, it's banned) to see if it's true.

How exactly is that statement contradicting? Sorry I don't see it.

Of course my book could be wrong. As I said, I can't prove it with an original quote or something and the book isn't "scientific" in the original sense. It's more of a study guide for my finals.

His catholic upbringing is reported on wikipedia and if you don't believe that I'm sure you can find scientific sources telling you the same thing.

I'd love to be enlightened but accusing me of lying won't do it.

If I somehow became a despot and absolute ruler of the U.S. I would most definitely institute a pogrom. Here it is in order of who the lions get first: Christians, mormons, muslims. The jews get a pass because they revere science and education and they've been through enough already, but they'd better not get full of themselves. Scientologists better shut the fuck up too (I'm 'this' close!).The buddhists are ok, the hindus have lovely pictures.And shintoism can stay too, but everyone else...
