I used to have this album and tape and I would rewind it over and over just to hear this song again and again. The whole soundtrack is excellent, but I espcially love this song. Just recently discovered it here on youtube!

Some older responses, but just to clarify. "U.S. Male" changed their name to "Truth Inc" not "The Truth". If you can find their album, it has this track on it and is just a great album from top to bottom. These are the same writers who did Howard Hewett "Show Me" and Jody Watley "Take Me in Your Arms" which are both epic slow jams.

Man that R&B sound of the 80's and 90's. Nothing like it. I use to rewind this song over and over. I still have the tape but that song is warped, but will still rock it. I need to find the cd. Thanks for having great taste in music.

I love this song, I wish I could go back to the mid-80's & early 90's when Donnie Simpson was hosting Video Soul on BET along with Video Vibrations & Midnight Love. just real music like, Janet, Anita Baker, Babyface, Guy, New Edition, etc. Take it back to that era and stay there.

Man, I love this song too. It's crazy, because it sounds like something that Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis would write and Produce. In fact, when it starts, it sounds a lot like a song that they DID produce, "Making Love in the Rain" by Herb Alpert.

Oh wow, now that you mentioned that, it does kind of sound like "Making Love in the Rain". Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis are some very talented and gifted songwriters/producers. I like this song because it's a rarity. Whoever wrote this song certainly outdid themselves....it's that great! :-D
