Japan - Still Fighting-off the Recession; When Will the Strength Ebb Out?
The Battleship is the Japanese economy going hard, The bomber planes are the various factors of the world recession affecting the Japanese economy from all sides, the big guns are the major Japanese industries like Toyota, Panasonic or Yamaha, the smaller guns are industries like Bandai, Kyoto or Fuji Television, the AA guns are the Japanese retail industry, the Sailors are Japanese industrial workers, the sickbay is the Japanese welfare state, the officers are the CEOs or managers of larger and smaller firms, lookouts on the Radar and Binoculars are the economic analysts/forecasters and the Captain of the ship is the Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry.
Japanese companies have cut tens of thousands of jobs, mostly of vulnerable temporary-contract workers, as the demand for cars, cameras and other products dies amid the crisis.
And the comming Japan Democratic Party Administration might destrory not only the economy, but Japan itself.
I'm really getting depressed.
