I remember listening to Rush on my lunch break that day, and I just about spit out my water when this poem was read. I have an English Lit degree-- this is not a poem. It's a list of mundane observations that has no point. And Rush is hilarious!

thorn and din.
patching a tire.
someone is trying to make music somewhere.
A woman and her son wait for the bus.
Take out your pencils...begin.
Michelle probly reads this to her kids at night.
