Diary of An Amputee- My First Leg

This is just a quick video showing how i did the first day i got my leg. It was definitely not the most comfortable thing in the world but hey i was FINALLY able to walk. Something ive dreamed about doing again since my accident.. I am so happy to finally be closer to getting back to a sense of normality in my life. =) I'd also like to dedicate this video to my sister's friend Michael. he sent me the video camera to take this without even knowing who i am. It's a random act of kindness like this that makes the world so beautiful. I'd also like to dedicate it to all of my family and my closest friends who have been by my side since the beginning. my first steps are for you...

@ Deena8519 yes I felt pain and I was in my first leg within 2 1/2 months of my accident, but it differs with each person. Oh and thank you ^_^

@ CorbusG why exactly are you not sorry about my ex and me? Just curious because I'm certainly not sorry about us not working lol I have a wonderful guy at my side now who has gone above and beyond

In a few years you'll be able to walk and feel a "new leg" just as you used to, only with batteries. Current research and development has some amazing things, even for $25,000 but they're not all good enough replacements. If you save now, you'll be able to afford a replacement within 10-years :) Oh and my gf would kill me if she found out, I think you look cute! A Prosthetic leg doesn't take away cuteness, just remember that!
