Jeni Barnett has no clue what she is talking about; "If you have had the flu vaccine why do you have a cold?". A clear demonstration that she knows absolutely nothing about human physiology or medicine. Fool. They are imperfect, but largely very effective, barriers. That disease might kill a child that is not otherwise effected is not a searing indictment of modern living - this has happened throughout history.

In fact, we're much, much better at ensuring that children don't die. Ugh!

Chronic infection from live vaccines has been documented long before Wakefield et al postulated this possibility in relation to the MMR vaccine and it's link to autistic regression in a subset of children. It's hardly a revolutionary proposition. The church of vaccinology, like most organised religions, has been subsidised for far too long by the taxpayer. These vaccines are causing long term disability and chronic illness in a growing percentage of the population.
