@xprincessxcherryx Have you tried singing this song? I tried doing a cover of this song and it really surprised me how difficult it is. The range of this song is really wide and you're not supposed to belt out the high notes.

Those idol groups 'can' sing live, but unfortunately, not very well. Except for the main vocalist like Taeyeon or Hyorin, the other members can't really sing.

@nickelbatx "Perhaps if you visited the concert live you would think differently?" I'm sure the gain levels set for the performance hall sound spectacular at the concert live. It's rare that one can directly record the performance only using the gain levels set for the concert hall. The recording level gains usually need to be tweaked to get the best possible record of the performance. Two separate gain controls are involved,recording level gains are frequently off. Still love the music though.

@Garvin277 Regardless, most girl group members tend to only be able to look good and dance except for the main vocalist, who usually tends to be not as good looking as the rest. Besides, the quality for these vids posted on youtube might also result in an inaccurate view of you towards 'Asian music'. Perhaps if you visited the concert live you would think differently?

@nickelbatx ".. not very well." Sorry, have to disagree, much of Asian music is plagued by exceedingly poor gain mixing. Sadly many of IU's pieces display this as well. Count how many times either the instrumental track or the base track is allowed to hide or bury IU's stellar vocal work. Anytime you hide or bury a vocal track, you end up with pitch blending that can make one believe she or they can't sing very well live. I blame the person on the soundboard mixing not the performer.

I remember watching this over and over again... and I knew she would make everyone fall head over heels for her ;D shes awesome!
