fantastic, I loved it when I was 18 and I have finally discovered you can buy it on itunes!
I Saw Deaf School in 1976 in Cardiff Student Union... I seem to remeber Bete, fluffing her recorder bit and being reprimanded, and then the reverend taking on some hecklers to great applause.
A really stupendous band
it's really good to hear this again " i can't be late, it's a charity date, I've got to cut the ribbon at the vicars fate, next bus don't leave till 8

Great band. What the hell genre could you slot them into? Music Hall Revival? Ala Paul McCartney? That'll do for some of their stuff.

I love the album English boys and working girls, cant seem to get a copy of it though. any ideas.
by the way, my Dad used to be stationed at Lyneham, and we lived in Calne in the 70s.
I live in LA now, but still miss the place.

I never saw them live but I also have the old '70's LP's. Nicely done.

Ahem ... I still have all of the vinyl 33rpm LP's by them. Saw them live in the late 70's. This is sooooo good.
