Promo video for 'You Lift Me Up' from Brzezicki, Butler, Watson (BBW) . This song was originally called 'The Highest Mountain' and was recorded during and played live on Big Country's 25th Anniversary tour of 2007. It is included on the BBW CD 'In Our Name' which can be purchased from http://www.bigcountry.co.uk or digitally downloaded from itunes or Amazon. Other tracks on the album are 'A Time So Wild', Make For The Wire', In My Name' and 'Hope And Waterloo' as well as two extended remixes of 'You Lift Me Up'. The album is gifted with wonderful liner notes from Bruce, Mark and Tony.
This song was to be released as a single under the name 'Big Country' until it was decided through band members, management and Stuart Adamson's estate that it would be released under the name of BBW. As it stands, the song wasn't eventually released as a single on its own but as part of the album.

  • WELL DONE LADS! : ) I'm afraid I can't approve of the car choice, but that's a minor complaint ; )

  • It's one from Mark Brzezicki's personal collection!

  • That is a rather risqué name for the band.

    Thanks for the video.

  • yes, methinks they didn't look up any other meanings of BBW prior to deciding on it. Googling BBW doesn't bring you directly to this, does it!? :-)

  • Well - thankfully - Bruce, Tony and Mark are big and beautiful in their own way.

  • Indeed. And they were definitely part of something Big :-)

  • Just more proof that the spirit of BIG COUNTRY will never die. Hope BBW goes on in the future to produce more quality work like this EP. THANKS so much for posting this.

  • the best place to hear big country or other things like that is on rock radio manchester

  • In 15 years of being a BC fan, a heard them in the radio for only two times. I don't think anyone, except BC fans, ever get notice of that song.

  • Im in Canada so of course I did'nt get to hear this song on the radio here.Did it get any air time in the U.K. and Europe?I like it.
