The SYNC Technology Center is thrilled to be helping Jeb Ory and Jen Kin with their Midterm Experience; Building Internet Startups. This class is being taught by Eric Lefkofsky and Brad Keywell from Groupon. The goal of the project is to create as much value as possible out of a toy. Chicago Booth was given $10 to start their company, $5 for Jeb and $5 for Jen.
Jeb came over to the SYNC to explain to Mike Rhodes the purpose of the project. As a result, The SYNC is donating space to a non-profit (I AM 4 KIDS) and that non-profit will directly affect 475,000 kids in the next year. THAT is a LOT of VALUE from just a $10 initial fund.
Mike, thanks so much for this! You really helped us start a movement!
