A sneek peek at Invesco Field at Mile High as it is prepared for the final night of the Democratic National Convention. See the technology, see the set design, gain access to areas that only SeeSwann can take you.

This video is dedicated to Mike Magnum, da44show. He's the anchor and I'm the field reporter.

  • is it just me, but he looks like Ice Cube, just lighter

  • Rebornin2005 - You're not the first to say that although I don't see it myself. I do see myself in the next XXX movie though! LOL Thanks for watching!

  • I now change my mind on the set. It now seems as their intent was to replicate the look and feel of backside of the White House near the rose garden where the President sometimes gives speeches.

If THAT is the intent, then it was a huge mistake. It comes off as being a tad bit aspirational, even presumptuous. And looking either aspirational or (worse) presumptuous is considered bad form and utterly unbecoming for any presidential candidate.

(But it's STILL not a "Greek temple.")

  • An honest, intelligent and politically neutral comment left at the same time the convention is going on. Thanks InnocentByproduct. I only wish this forum had more participants like yourself.

  • Quo vadis America? A clown playing Caesar in a "tacky" hollywood style seudo-greek-roman-temple....whats next!? its gonna be funny!!!

  • Obama is trying to invoke the imagery of both JFK's 1960 acceptance speech at the Memorial Colliseum in LA and MLK's 1963 "I Have a Dream" speech at the Lincoln Memorial.

The problem with this manufactured image for Thursday night is that it's not subtle; it's ostentatious.

It says something about the ego of a man without a single legislative accomplishment yet to be thinking of himself, not just as President ... but in the same league as Kennedy or Martin Luther King.
