i've had my cockatiel for a couple days now. it has come out of its cage two times now, (i left the door open so it could do that) and it has come onto my finger twice. It is very hard to get it on my finger cause whenever i put my hang infront or her she turns away..same thing happens when i try to give her treats. How can i get her to take the treats or some onto my hands?

My cockatiel is older but will sit and have a head rub as long as I will rub. I say "put your head down", he will put his head down, close his eyes and sit as long as I rub. I also take a fingernail and scrape the shafts off of new feathers, he loves that.
