does it work indoors as well? we use holigen lights and they put out alot of light and heat.

Never tried it under halogen lights but if it is high intensity, you should be able to get the pump running.

@GoldenGadget ya know I was thinking about that and I dont think so because: When light of the "right " wavelength shines on the semiconductor material of a solar cell, the light creates a flow of electrons. I'm not Bill Nye so could be wrong

Hi,

I am looking for exactly what you have here but the water would need to climb at least 4 feet high. I am building a two wine barrel water fountain system with an old time cast iron hand pump where the water will fall from it's spout. Can you tell me if there are any solar powered pumps out there that can move water at least 4 to 5 feet in height? If so, where can I find this solar powered submersible pump and what would I expect to pay for this system?
