@nicholowachuk I am not familar with Maxxon but from the info on the Maxxon website lightweight concrete (LWC) looks like LWC has better properties (lower weight per m2/ m3, better insulation [sound, both impact and transmission, and heat]) but LWC's strength is a bit lower. But, if you are going to have a floor covering you do not need the higher strength. Can you send me some cost info on Maxxon? (send to: scott@k-block.com)

verry intrested ... use maxxon (gypcrete and cementisous) product every day but thinking this is cheeper

Thank you for your comment. However, the flow you see is due to the high amount of air in the mix - not water. For lightweight concrete you first make a mortar and it is here that the water content is controlled. Once the mortar passes QC, then air bubbles are added (in the form of a foam). Since the air bubbles are round - they act like ball bearings - making the lightweight concrete mix almost self leveling.
