There are very few things that make me as sad than thinking about what happened to Mia. The Gits rocked. her voice was like Billie Holiday meets the Sex Pistols A little bit like Janis Joplin. I feel a little closer to Mia because she's from Louisville like me. Mia was brutally murdered for simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The chances of what happened to her actually happening are so slim that I think ALL THE TIME about how UNFAIR it was. Mia has been on my mind a lot lately

Very very unique voice and passionate performances! I saw her for the first time on Hype! and was like "Who is that woman"? She really stroke me as beautiful, talented, real, passionate....
I like their music and LOVE her voice...Sometimes I just wish the music would stop so I can hear her voice better (with all the respect for the music itself, don't get me wrong). They would have made it big hadn't her life been taken away by that piece of shite!!!!

I knew Mia...and sadly you are missing the point about her life. Whether the sick guy who took her life was Cuban, or Khazakistanian or born in the USA has little merit in the big picture.
