  • I think they make a very good point about marriage (in uk) traditionally being a Christian institution. I anticipate there are nice similarites with other religions. I'm not religious, however, I do recognise the significance of the legal and morally vowed bond in UK marriage being modelled on Christianity. I don't think marriage in the UK has faired well as, whether the couples are christian or not, the change in laws and rights have become too detached from the original agreement to fit roles.

  • This was lovely to watch. I am just coming up to being married for a year (but we've been together for 11 years in total) but seeing these two and how they are after 54 years together was great.
