An unscripted rambling short, just to keep you guys happy for a while. Including first shots, from my new head camera =) . I Filmed it alone so was abit limited. Showing the cheapest options for a disposable snow suit and tactics. I never saw the deer until I uploaded the cassette.

STEALTH is still in the worxs on a MAC.

  • No problem. Good to help and debate setups.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • Airsoft parts are not really proven/compared to each other properly. If your shots fly straight and true; I don't see why you need to upgrade anything. imo, the quality of the barrel's inner surface is more important than the diameter, when it comes to hundredths of a milimeter. To shoot out to 300ft requires lob shooting with any airsoft gun/setup and for that I suggest a mil dot scope and a laser range finder. You get good at judging the lob shots.

  • I bought my 6.05mm 554mm PDI VSR barrel for only $55 (NEW) because back then they were so un popular. Now PDI make a 6.08mm and say that is the best for accuracy while 6.01mm is best for velocity. Thats from the xfire website, if you want to look it up. I bought all my kit based on value for money and so glad I did:) it works a treat and was somewhat cheaper than modern prices. If I had to pay modern prices, I would just get the laylax 6.03mm; far better value for money.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • @phantomTMA Would you say both Barrel brands perform the same? Because the difference in price is quite drastic.

  • @phantomTMA Oh and Thank you much. Good Hunting.

  • @phantomTMA Sounds like a plan, Even with my PDI 6.01 which I have been told is the most accurate (Obviously not) I and still getting about 95% of my shots ending up right down the middle of my crosshair. Sometimes it will get pushed from a small breeze I did not account for. So I can expect even better with a 6.05 Barrel. If I don't this gun adequate and accurate. I will go VSR-10.

  • If the rifle shoots consistantly and accuratly where you want, then you should find it gets results on the gaming field and you don't need to replace it. I have no experience with the PDI hop so cannot comment on it myself; only what I had read.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • PDI or Laylax barrels. 6.03-6.05mm. I believe the quality is more important than the diameter.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • @phantomTMA I set-up my PDI in my UTG in the gun in not much time. If you are talking about tuning it so it throws bbs where I want. Yeah it was frustrating, but I got it where I want it and it hasn't moved. Plus I want that PDI barrel, unless someone makes a better one.

  • @phantomTMA What Inner barrel do you like?
