  • From what building you taped this,i can see reunion tower there?

  • It was taped from the Bank of America Plaza, which is the tallest building in Dallas.

  • I think this is the one two years ago we were going to go into Dallas from the hotel in arlington because Were from Houston and they closed down the freeway so we dident get to go in to

    Dallas!!!

  • With tanks flying like rockets, I think it was a good idea to avoid the area. When we were watching cars drive by with projectile flying randomly, "safe on trinity bottom" was a relief. If one were to hit our building with a flame behind it, all of us would have been high tailing down 50 stories of stairs.

  • Great footage!

  • I was about 2 miles away on Jefferson St. when this happend.

  • thats true!!!

    that was some crazy explosions!!!

  • I think it's only fair that follow up to MahHa that oxygen tanks don't explode without an incendiary origin. I have yet to know what the "spark" was here. My best guess would be a cigarette, second a spark from the transfer of a manifold / header. I don't know. I do know that oxygen tanks with flame are dangerous.

  • wow,is the building green in the night, right,ok,tanx.

  • Mogcast, you are quite correct! MahHa2888 would still be WRONG when he comments that oxygen tanks don't explode. When oxygen tanks are heated to a high enough temp and explode, the oxygen alone would feed any nearby flame. The hurricane Katrina bus deaths are just one example of oxygen tanks and flames. Acetylene only makes the reaction more volatile. FYI, the main commentary does come from a very knowledgeable source. MahHa2888 is the moron in more ways than I can illiterate here.
