Montréal, tales of gentrification in a bohemian city is about the effect of condo development and gentrification in Montréal. Many former working class and low-income communities across the city are being transformed by large-scale urban development, which affects many residents. Distinct neighbourhoods such as Shaughnessy Village, Saint-Henri, Griffintown, Pointe Saint-Charles, Parc-Extension and Hochelaga-Maisonneuve are being targeted to become more like Montreal's most well known district, Plateau Mont-Royal.

Great work Adam, you touched on all the issues with gentrification. With over half of the world's population now living in cities a dichotomy is being split between the haves and have nots. Unscrupulous contractors are taking advantage of the profit to be had and, what is being lost is a sense of place to the displaced. I'll post a polar opposite to gentrification, a BBC documentary on the case of Lagos Nigeria. I think you'd find it interesting Adam.

Adam I really enjoyed you documentary. I'm just wondering how you personally feel about Gentrification? Is it wrong for the middle income to want to move back to the city. How has gentrification affected you Personally?
