The train with BNSF power is CSX Q380. It's counterpart is Q381, and it usually picks up the GE deliveries at Erie, if there are any.

As I suspected. Its run-through power. So yeah, its pretty common to find stuff like that. There were UP engines in New Jersey by the Linden refinery many times.

That was strange to find the BNSF engines on that CSX train.

Actually, it's really common to see BNSF locos on CSX trains in Berea, but really only on Eastbounds. Same Thing With Westbounds in Fostoria. Also a Few UP's on the CSX trains.
