Hey everyone
This is my three part response to a video from myownstickfigure (Johnny) I'm so sorry I've been away for so long but I have had a lot of work for exams and a lot of slips in my own recovery, but slips happen. Johnny sweetie, I couldn't help but cry when I watched your "I still addict" videos, for they had such raw honesty (pun intended on 'raw') I can relate to so much of what you said and I'm here to tell you that you're NOT alone, that recovery IS possible and that YOU can do it. In the words of Barack Obama, "Yes we can."

Just so you know, I spontaneously recorded this after midnight....I'm exhausted and look a wreck after a day of studying for exams, driving and 1.5 hours of karate training but I really wanted to tell you my thoughts and have you know that Sophie cares and loves you. xoxoxox

  • good video. how long have you studied karate?

  • Thankyou for the comment! =D

I have been studying and training in Goju Ryu Karatedo since July of this year. I'm only a white belt currently but am grading for yellow belt this saturday coming. My partner is a first dan black belt in the same martial art and he got me into it. I used to only be into karate because of the friendly atmosphere but now it means so much more to me. It really affects the person you are in so many ways. It's a deep spiritual connection and I'm glad you have found it!

  • My love, strange how we are drawn to things at the times we need them most. Angels are watching over us both. I am on my laptop and have had to glue my ear to the computer and can barely hear you but just enough to make out a majority of what you are saying. It's verrrrry hard to understand you but what I am hearing is putting me in tears, eyes and heart. Thank you for your compassion and support. I feel lonely this morning but watching this helps me feel not so alone.
