Lexi can now walk in a walker. She still has a very long way to go but progress is being made. She is a very happy person despite her physical problems.

Lexi has Dystonia caused by Kernicterus or newborn jaundice. The jaundice caused damage to a motor control area in the brain. Last summer Lexi had surgery to implant electrodes in her brain to help her gain control. She has made great progress and this video shows that she can now make some meaningful movements.
