I took my mainland red cedar soprano to an open mic the other day, and there was another guy who had a uke and he thought my mainland uke was a lot of money
after all he had only paid £50 pounds for his, and his had a pick up fitted.
well, after playing both he had to take back his comment
say no more
anyways up this is my attempt at picking around C F AND G7 , i am getting faster and hitting the right notes now and again

Sigh...as if UAS isn't bad enough. Seriously felt I may add a cedar tenor to my set which I could get easily ..keep trying to persuade myself a spruce top is more punchy ( I cannot get one so easy)...I mean I have to sleep at night lol!!!

i dont realy understand all the different types of woods apart from the colours
all i know is that this uke is the brightest one i have , i have a couple of mahoganys
i think the fluke is hoop pine.

Great picking Krabbers! I've never actually tried a Mainland yet, but I know that will change in June, and I'm going to be very tempted! Every Mainland I've heard on YouTube has sounded wonderful.
