This choral music (a cappella) by Canadian composer Victor Mio is a setting of Edgar Allan Poe's poem A Dream Within a Dream, performed by the Laurier Singers (chamber choir), directed by Lee Willingham and produced by Earl McCluskie of Chestnut Hall Music Productions. Photos are by Raffaella Sponziello-Mio. The music is in a Neo-Romantic style largely based on modal writing.
Whoa whoa whoa, Laurier...as in, Wilfrid Laurier University? I SO want to go to grad school there for music therapy! This is awesome.

I am a fan of Mio's music, especially this particular piece. I offered "A Dream Within a Dream" to my high school choir a few years ago and they loved it. The Laurier Singers have done a phenomenal job with it!
