UP 3985 Departing Cheyenne, WY Sept 18, 2008

Union Pacific # 3985 In a Fresh New Paint Job Departs Cheyenne, Wyoming the morning of Sept 18, 2008 for a run to Minnesota the first multi-day trip since undergoing some repairs that had her down 3 years since the July 2005 CFD trip.
First we look at the new paint time for a quick official pic of steve lee then climb aboard to back out of the steam shop yard and on to the UP mainline a quick pan back to the turntable and steam shops then a hasty departure catches me off gaurd as she steams eastward. Filmed from the center of the Steam Capitol of the World Cheyenne, WY

You know the Big Boy train doesn't run anymore. Besides, Big Boy trains are 4-8-8-4 wheel arangments, this train in this video is a 4-6-6-4 wheel arangment.
