  • damn fine collection, if your not bothered so much about how the gun looks so much as how it performs then whats more important is how it feels to shoot, i don't like the stainless bushing on the 1911 either but other than that its a handsome looking gun, i think (purely my opinion of course)what you might enjoy adding to your collection in future, a decent pump shot gun to compliment that TTN, like a Mossberg 590 or benelli MI but you have to get out and shoot that M1 Garand dude

  • @Goodkat2319 I'd still like to put some period correct parts on my 1911, I do realise of course that because it's the Mil-Spec GI and not the standard GI that no matter what I do it will never be 100% period accurate. As for the pump shotgun I thought about getting a replica model 1893 or 1897. I'm planning on taking the M1 Garand out shooting next weekend, I wanted it to be on a day when my parents could go with me.

  • refinishing would probably be more cost effective

  • @LeverActionDirk You're probably right.

  • Nice collection! I hope to one day expand to hand guns (mostly for the sake of a new Vaquero which makes me drool) and a lever gun too would be a lot of fun. Unfortunately I don't get to shoot all that often as I live in the suburbs and have to drive for a couple of hours to get out into good melon hunting territory.

  • @TheSoberIrishman21 prefer the 1897 if only because its a little safer and a little better put together than the 1893 (which is actually why they built it), but its like i always say you cant go wrong with a Winchester....O.k so I've never actually said those words before but they're still true. Happy shooting bro and keep the vids coming :)

  • @saints360row You didn't come across as sobby at all. The reason I don't own any really fancy guns isn't because I can't afford them (I can) I just don't want them. The problem with buying a fancy gun, for me anyway, is that if I spend say $1000 or $1200 on a really fancy handgun or rifle I would be too afraid to shoot it because I wouldn't want to put wear marks on it. I do however want to buy something a little more modern like a Glock 21.

  • @TheSoberIrishman21 -Sure.

I may have seemed a little snobby with my previous comment, but you do have a fairly nice collection, so far (That's not to say that I have a better collection; I don't (I intend to in the future, though)). I mean, you could use a few newer models to add to your collection in the future - That is, of course, my opinion.

  • @saints360row Thank you.

  • Not all my fancy, but to one's his own.
