In which Matt reviews If on a winter's night a traveler by Italo Calvino, predicts an end to the favorite books review project sometime in 2011, and thanks all those who enjoyed his last video . . . though not in that order.
I wouldn't say that postmodern is a genre, but a level of analysis. All books can be post modern. In literature, postmodernism can simply be expressed through the elimination of the Author. This book is incredibly literal in that, but it wouldn't have to be. When a reader recognizes that the "Author's meaning" is actually meaningless to them, the text becomes postmodern.
that sounds interesting, but i'm not going to read it. ever since i had to read the postmodern book "moon palace" by paul auster for my english course i hate postmodern novels with all my heart. i can't get into the story and in the end i'm so confused by all the twists and descriptions of boring and complicated events and objects that for some reason are supposed to be important symbols that.. whatever, you get my point :)
2:30 stop. This is hilarious, Im round abouts page 30 at the moment and had to close it up for a breathe and a second opinion parsing through eight voices at once i was beginning to drowned in nothingness.
This sounds really great! I'm not a huge fan of reading books in which I'm constantly confused, but I think I'll definitely give this one a try. I'm so glad John Green tweeted your song so I could find your channel!

Sounds like postmodern to me. I'm pomophobic so....I may have to pass.

That novel sounds REALLY interesting... I might have to look into this one.
Looking forward to To Kill a Mockingbird - I had to study it for English in school so I kinda know it inside out...
