But ya, he has really good stuff out there, people just really need to listen to the right danzig stuff, people say his 1st one's the best...and true danzig fans put that cd, usually about 4th or 5th on their list
I know by talking to true danzig fans, his new album is his best since 1994's "4p"

@richardsdead I think a lot of people just follow what other people say, stupid asses that aren't real fans are just like "ooooh ya mother is the best song, the first album is the best".....fucking bullshit, poser fans say that shit...I listened to what I thought was the best album "danzig 1" and it wasn't all that...and didn't like danzig much, then heard his other stuff and was blown away...here's my danzig order of best to least (imo): tie between 9,7,&4...then 3,2,1,8, 6 and then 5

@book678903 i know how you feel man. I wish more people would have an open mind instead of assuming he sold out just because it sounds industrial and NIN were huge at the time. Samhain's "human pony girl" sounds like a blackacidevil song minus the modern production. I also thing 6:66 is a killer album. Have a huge poster of it above me right now haha.
