Nebraska vs. Idaho Highlights

Nebraska Defeats Idaho 38-17. "Nebraska started strong, but ended sloppy", said Coach Bo Pelini after the game. The Cornhuskers commited more than 10 penalties and had numerous turnovers. If Nebraska hopes to defeat Washington next week. Than they better do some major correcting.

@NUHusker09 Yeah Delaware ran for 257 yards on them and their defense was on the field all day so we should have ran for 350 ! Most defenses will get rolled if their on the field all day though. They didnt get killed by Ill ST , it was only 24-14 and the SD defense only gave up 7 of those. Ill ST scored because of 3 turnovers. Their defense is their strength but your right ,were supposed to put up a 60 or 70 spot on schools like SD.

@carv5playa They got killed by Illinois State and also lost to Delaware. Their defense is horrible. They lined two guys on Martinez though to shut him down, and it worked. Its easier to Game Plan against Nebraska than ISU and DU, because Nebraska has film. I think Nebraska should have scored 63-70 points, but we got shut down.

@NUHusker09 ..I agree with you and when i saw the SD score ( 17-3 ) i was shocked but then again South Dakota does have a good defense , their just horrible on offense. I think we should have scored at least 30 on them though.

@carv5playa I know. I complained about that to my dad, and he said that it's extremely difficult to remain best in the nation for a 2nd year in a row. That is true though. I don't think South Dakota State is too much of a challenge although we will look better. We couldn't lose to South Dakota State if we tried to. They're just too far under matched. We could score 8 Rushing TD's with Martinez if we wanted to. If I was Bo, I'd put in the 2nd and 3rd stringers to rest the starters for the future.

@NUHusker09 Yea but remember that Arizona game was at the end of the season with Suh and the defense at their peak. You cant expect this years black shirts to be playing at that level this early in the season . However, they shut down locker , who is supposed to be an HT candidate ! And , once UW got 21 points the Huskers held them in check. I agree with you though , Idaho and WKU should not have scored as much as they did and i expect improvement against South Dakota.

@EllaChase Iowa is not even in the same class as Nebraska has Iowa looked impressive no Iowa chokes every year and is a door mat to Ohio state and Michigan don't mention them in the same breath as Nebraska go big red
