@CiscoTheOmega he likes punk rock so when uses that dubstep type stuff its kinda like to have that anarchy rebel type feel

Lupe is such a bullshit artist. There is now problem with changing your sound, but don't try to drag me along by saying "It was the label". Let me hop off if I want.
This is what these guys are saying. Lupe should just man up and say he changed his sound, don't bullshit us.

@IceColdDragon87 I don't care. His messages aren't even that revolutionary compared to someone like Immoral Tech or Lowkey. Plus, he fucking tripped up all of his fans. He's a bullshit artist who is incredibly overrated and underachieving. Fuck Lupe.

fotp is good especially for a mixtape, lightwork, soundclash in vegas, love life and death are all amazing songs. it's different but thats the whole point

I was thinking about this lately, and thought of this. Put yourself in Lupe's position. You want to get your message to the masses through your music, and the best way he could incorporate his message into his music AND reach the masses would be to commercialize his music. So, by making it more radio friendly, he's making more people hear his message in his lyrics. Not saying this is what Lupe meant to do, but it's something to think about.

@TEAMxEPICxSPACE It's called dead end hip-hop. They review the hip-hop aspect of it. . . Which is lyrics and beats
haha "Blame it on us! Blame it on Bob!"

I think C-Town misunderstood. Lupe had recorded a different album originally with different songs. The vocals WEREN'T pasted onto pop production, the songs on Lasers were new ones, after the label denied what he originally wanted to put out. If I'm not mistaken, "I'm Beamin'" and "Shining Down" were supposed to be on the album (I might be wrong there tho).
But I agree that I think when Lupe saw the success of LASERS, it went to his head, and he decided to run with that sound.
