My First Fishin gBoat was an old 1960 Dual Console 20" Fiberglass Boat .The repair shop i took it too gave it one heck of a Fiberglas repair job on the lower huill. The crack was about 14 inches right through. The Fiberglass Repair was Pretty Darn Good. It sank on it's Third Fishing Trip in about 45 to 60 " feet of water. I didn't have a Depth Gauge. I Retroactively called that boat The Minnow 1. True story. That was in 1987. I wonder if it is still down there.

Hi Greg,
The Norwegian sailing magazine "Sailas" called the Scandinavian Cruiser 20 the 20th century BB11.
Best regards

Is it for sale?

@tsvca
The Timber Point 23 is beautiful. Yes it seems to have inspired the Scandinavian Cruiser 20, which by the way is for sale. You can visit the main web site for US distributor information.

It's gorgeous! What is the minimum sailor weight for this boat?
ivannaSKUD18 2 years ago
Ivanna,
If you can sail a SKUD 18 then you can easily sail the Scandinavian Cruiser 20.
There will not be any minimum weight in our class rules. I sailed her alone, and as you can see it worked well in light air. In heavy air it is better to be two people, and to use the trapeze. For a leisure cruise you can even fit in 2 adults and a child.

whats it look like in 25 knots?
tunneljumper 2 years ago
25 knots is OK for me. Let go together if it is ok for you. I suspect that she will be planing...
She is a very light boat so she will sail above the waves rather than ploughing through them.
