Seriously?!? was there ANY contact of elbow to head? I've watched this replay several times from multiple sources and have yet to see any "elbow to head" contact...As for Rinne's shove to Holmstrom's head, i guess that's perfectly legal somehow.....it's baffling how the referree's call/non-calls are beyond reproach
Like always, Homer is playing it perfectly. It doesn't matter where contact is made, 1 inch outside of the crease, or 2 feet outside of the crease, its never a penalty when a goalie initiates contact....but they know to do it to Homer and wait for the call. I think goalies should just skate out to him, anywhere on the ice, and run into him for a free PP. If we shoot it into the open net, who cares, it would get waived off! :)

Looks like there was an unintentional elbow, but if this were anyone but Holmstrom and the Red Wings, the refs wouldn't have even thought twice.
