This can be quite the process, it does take much time. The end result is very rewarding and satisfying.

Recipe:

Dough
8 oz. milk (1 cup)
1/4 oz. active dry yeast
1/2 oz. sugar
1/2 lb bread flour
1/4 lb cake flour
1/3 oz. salt
1 oz. butter (soft)

Butter block
1/2 lb butter (soft)
1oz. bread flour (sifted)

Cream cheese filling
4 oz. cream cheese (soft)
1 oz. sugar
