  • I need to know a substitute for bow string wax that isn't bee wax im in desprete need my strings are degrading and im to far from eny hunting stores to get eny so please i need a substitute thanks :L

  • @theshotism you can buy it on line from my store. I wouldnt suggest using anything but bow wax, its designed to use for that specific use.

  • I would be concerned about too much heat on the string, which might degrade the properties of the synthetic polymer fibers of the string and possibly cause the string to stretch. Do we know the melting point of the wax, and how close is it to the temperature that would damage the string?

  • @aed939 If it get that hot I would be conserned with my hair going up in smoke, come on dude its a hair dryer. I have been doing this since the early 90s with never a problem. As with anything you do you must use common scents that very simple rule to live by. In other words if the hair dryer blows flames or you can't stand the heat from it you could damage your string. LOL

  • Don't use anything unless it is for bow strings, there are different types of lubes and protectors out there

  • I use the vertical 4 pin sight with all green pins, ask for it, it alows you unobstructed veiw of your target, and tell Mitchell I said to give you a hat if he has one lol let me know how you like the site

  • @grttaxi I noticed you said to wax the serving. I have seen another video where the guy said not to wax the serving. Why or why not is this recommended?

  • What is the best wax to use

  • *bow

  • bow wax is no more than ten dollars...quit being cheap to you all asking dumb questions about using candle wax and just pay the money to maintain the box which you've already paid a lot to have.
