there wasn't democracy, political parties were forbidden, education was controlled so that children coul not learn what had happened and why half a generation fought against the other half do desth, and which ideals confronted ones and the others. A terrible final for the war (all wars have terrible ends), but those who were defeated found no mercy in front of the victorious army of fascism.
