In 2002, India committed to ensuring that all children from 6-14 have access to quality education. It launched Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA)—known as Education for All—a national effort to reach over 190 million children and one million schools. The World Bank joined the effort in 2003, along with the UKs DFID and the European Commission (EC). This video depicts this effort and the positive effects it has had on the schoolchildren in India.
