Rebecca Jarvis speaks with GM CEO Dan Akerson from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange about his company's comeback from Bankruptcy and a government bailout.
@762lenny - that Volt is going to be a huge loss on the balance sheet.
Barry embezzled 90% of the bond holders investment in GM so this is all BS. Maobama is so retarded on so many levels, world leaders all but laugh right in his goofy face. Our prez is a walking WMD
He is still selling 500hp 100k "green" vehicles? Do they not follow the "green" ideals of the very Obamafied government that bailed them out? The VOLT is not cost effective - at that price you could drive it 5 years and not see a dime saved. Especially with the new electric bill you will be getting.
how the hell does this happen with unemployment being as high as it is and how much of that 50billion is being paid back, not to mention the ongoing housing collapse?

No 1 can predict the future for certain.
But GM has exceeded the most optomistic predictions thus far.
And GM has agressively marketed in China & sold 2 million cars there last yr.
Let's us hope this trend continues for then the taxpayers may end up w/ a profit on the deal.
