The New Horizons perform an abbreviated version of the yuletide tune "Good King Wenceslas". Special thanks to musicians Krysia A.-flute, and Lou K.-trumpets.

GOOD KING WENCESLAS

Good King Wenceslas looked out
On the Feast of Stephen
When the snow lay 'round about
Deep and crisp and even.
Brightly shone the moon that night
Though the frost was cruel
When a poor man came in sight
Gath'ring winter fuel.

(Instrumental interlude)

In his master's steps he trod
Where the snow lay dinted.
Heat was in the very sod
Which the saint had printed.
Therefore Christian men be sure
Wealth or rank possessing
Ye who now will bless the poor
Shall yourselves find blessing.

(Instrumental outro)

  • Respond to this video... yeah thanx 4da upload

  • Hmmm...trumpets sound fine to me.

  • Thanks for your comments OurJourneyOnEarth. We're glad you like it! The penny whistle-sounding instrument is actually a flute played in the higher register.

  • The brass section sounded out of tune at the end.
